Snow Biking

Snowbikes offer an alternative choice either as a break from skiing and riding or as a completely separate mode of travel. It's not difficult to learn – a quick 30-minute lesson will give you the basics and have you on your way.

Snowbiking is allowed on all of Hoodoo's runs. To snowbike at Hoodoo, you must have a snowbike license, which you can get by taking a lesson or a checkride if you have a license from another ski area.  The lesson costs $40 and includes the rental of the snowbike of your choice. You may trade for different snowbike types throughout the day at no extra charge.

We rent snowbikes for $30 a day (except Geary Storms, which are $40 a day), including Brenter C4s, Geary Storms, Sledgehammers, K2 1.0, K2 SMX, Stalmach Cruisers, Snowters, and Metalworx Snowmotos.  We also have  Trikke Skiis and Snowscoots, which aren't actually snowbikes, but are similar in style.

For questions about our lessons and programs, visit the Ski and Ride School page. You can also contact the Ski and Ride School office by email at srsoffice@hoodoo.com or by phone at 541-822-3799, ext. 6510. Save time at the mountain by printing and completing our rental form and lesson ticket form at home.
