When everyone else is headed down the mountain our RV guests are just getting started. Often they come for the weekends when they can be on the mountain for night skiing, and then some of them start to party or just enjoy the winter setting. Hoodoo has 32 RV sites near the entrance of the bowl and close to the lodge. During the winter season each site comes with electric hookup and basic cable so you don't have to miss the Big Game just because you are on the mountain. In addition the new lodge has tiled bathrooms open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with two pay showers in both the men's and women's rooms.

RVs that come up for the day are welcome, but due to the length of vehicle we request that they be parked in our free daily RV parking area. This area is directly in front of you as you enter the Hoodoo parking lot. It is at the end of the RV permit parking area, but before the employee parking area. It is also our bus parking area. We have extended our parking lot by about 20 feet back in this section to enable us to have your RV parked without blocking other vehicles and also to allow you to leave the parking lot at a time of your choosing rather than waiting for the cars around you to move out of the way. Please make sure that you don't park in the hookup area unless you intend to hookup and purchase a hookup permit. With permission on midweek days it is also possible to park near the Easy Rider lift but the risk of being blocked in temporarily is yours. If you are bringing your RV to the Autobahn, please park down the road from the main Autobahn parking lot near the maintenance  sheds. Again this decreases the chance that you will get parked in.

While parking during the day is free for cars and RVs alike, it costs a fee to stay overnight for both. Parking in the lot overnight with or without hookups takes a permit, available at our ticket office. The nonhookup camping cost each night is $15. (to leave your vehicle overnight without camping costs $10 this includes an extra vehicle that might come with the RV) Vehicles left overnight in our lot without a permit may be charged $20 or will be removed and charged the cost of removal. We are very strict about vehicles being left overnight, because this is when we do our plowing. A vehicle left in the parking lot in the wrong area can end up making our plowing that night a very difficult job.

Hookup permits are also available in the ticket office for $30-$45 per night, but you would be well advised to make a reservation first. RV spots are usually available on the evenings of Sunday through Thursday, but are sometimes hard to come by without a reservation on Friday and Saturday evenings. Reservations may be made by calling 541-822-3799. Reservations are also important if you are arriving after hours, so that you will know which hookup sites are open for you. A 50% deposit is requested, but is fully refundable up to 24 hours before the reservation date.

Full season RV passes may be obtained for $500 which entitles a person to have a spot anytime during the winter as long as the RV is occupied, and does not stay on the mountain more than seven days at a time. The RV may stay permanently for a price of $400 per month. There is also a program for getting up to 20 spots per season for a price of $300-$400. A day for the RV stay goes from 4 PM to 4 PM the next day. If you come up early you may park in our bus and RV area if your site is not ready, and then move in when it becomes available.

Regardless of whether you come up and park your vehicle for $10, stay in the parking lot for $15, rent a hookup for $30 ($35-$40 for larger slide out sites), or elect to get a longer term pass for the season, RV or trailer stays at Hoodoo are a lot of fun and lets face it what other way can you stay at a ski resort for this type of price. One warning though on nights when it snows you might want to bring earplugs because parking lot plowing starts early in the morning.
