Our cost for the Nordic Skiers
(cross country) on the weekends is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and youth.
During our peak period during winter vacation after Christmas, and on Winter
Carnival our prices increase by $2. Non-holiday midweek (mostly Mondays and Fridays) prices
normally are $10 and $8. On most non-holiday Tuesdays and Thursdays
(Closed most Wednesdays) we do not groom our trails, during this time our trails
are free. Please check at the office to determine the cost. Nordic rentals are
$12 for adults and $10 for youth and seniors. Please verify this page with our
ticket page which updated more frequently.
We offer Nordic lessons
that include rentals, a two hour lesson, and the
trail ticket. More advanced lessons are also available for group or private
lesson prices. For more information, see the Ski & Ride School
page.

Our nordic trails begin at the Nordic Center, as shown on the map
above. The Hogg Meadow Trail and Loop is a
gentle, rolling trail that is about 3.5 k and is excellent for the
beginner. Looping through a forest of hemlock and fir, the trail leads
back to Hoodoo Ski Area.
Hayrick Glade is for the intermediate
skier. This trail is 1 k and features easy, rolling trails bordering the
Big Lake/Hoodoo access road.
Black Jack Loop is a small diversion accessed
from the Hogg Meadow Trail. This intermediate
trail is only .5 K.
Finally we have the Sheep Springs Trail,
our
advanced loop featuring 2.5 k of both an exciting downhill run and a challenging
uphill climb.

Our Upper Trail System is open on weekends
and holidays (weather permitting) from 9 am until 4 pm. Skyline Trail is
not open during stormy conditions.
Access to Skyline is gained via the
Manzanita Chair,
exit by downhill runs only. This advanced 8.8 k trail is our most
challenging trail system. The views are break taking, but the skiing is
not for beginners! You must be able to ski gentle downhill runs to exit
skyline trails.
